Are you passionate about disaster risk reduction and eager to make a tangible impact in vulnerable communities? The Concern for Women and Children Development Foundation (COWACDI) is seeking a dedicated Project Assistant – Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) to join our team in Borno, Yobe & Sokoto.

Key Responsibilities:
Implementation Support: Assist in the execution, coordination, and monitoring of DRR activities to ensure effective project delivery.
Capacity Building: Facilitate training sessions to enhance stakeholders' understanding and application of DRR best practices.
Stakeholder Coordination: Maintain clear communication channels with partners, local authorities, NGOs, and community groups to foster collaboration.
Policy Integration: Aid in embedding DRR strategies across various organizational and community levels.
Monitoring & Evaluation: Support the collection and analysis of data to assess project impact and inform future initiatives.
Awareness Campaigns: Organize and participate in public awareness efforts to educate communities on disaster preparedness and resilience.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Environmental Science, Disaster Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in disaster risk reduction, emergency response, or community resilience projects.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (both written and oral) and local languages pertinent to the project areas.
Personal Attributes: Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to organizational policies and community engagement.
