About the BGIS Program


The Business Growth Initiative for Startups is fully funded by UK International Development, making it completely free for selected participants. The program offers a rigorous and transparent selection process, ensuring that businesses with high growth potential, market traction, and strategic alignment with program goals receive the necessary support.


The initiative includes a mix of virtual and in-person training, allowing for flexibility and collaboration among participants. The goal is to build a diverse and inclusive ecosystem, supporting businesses from all regions of Nigeria.


Program Duration

End Date: August 2025


Post-Program Support: Light-touch monitoring and evaluation continue until November 2025.



Eligibility Criteria


To qualify for the Business Growth Initiative for Startups, applicants must:

✔️ Have a proven business model and operational traction.

✔️ Be led by women entrepreneurs or have a strong focus on gender inclusion.
